My Grandma's house always smelled like hamburgers. They lived on fried food...

    I miss my Grandma & Grandpa...Gramps in 92 and Grandma in 99...

It always depended on which grandparents I went to...one always had homemade food or deserts, the other was smokey but pristinely clean, today it is the same minus the smoke.

My Gramps just had a rural Indiana HS diploma and worked in the lumber business all his life, mostly as a counter man/inside sales. But still he was one of the smartest people I have ever met....
One of the funniest memories of him was that him and a friend from Indiana were busted at 78 and 80 when they visited a nude strip joint in Lakeland, FL while it was raided by the Po-Po..... His friend Leo claimed to have never been to a strip joint before and Gramps took him. I guess they wasn't there but 20 minutes when it was raided (we are talking 1984 or 85) They thought the whole experience was funny as hell and he loved telling that story.

That is why Lakeland, FL is my 2nd home. As a kid I spent most summers there and later on lived there with my 1st wife for 12 years...

    He has to approve it???

    Yes. But I'm not asking.
I heard from multiple sources I'm going to get "talked to" on Monday for not coming in for Thursday's downturn.
They wanted me to work a double.
I'm finally tired of this ****.
All I hear all day is how Systems Repair has it easy, and doesn't do anything. And when guys start retiring, we're not getting replacements.
Well, if that's true, then I don't need to work doubles on my day off.

    In a garage
Good afternoon. I planned on washing the car, cleaning the winding and vacuum it out. Something went wrong and I did all that plus cleaning the rims and detailing the interior. I need a nap.

Just returned from cleaning the inside of my wife's car, it had been months..
Not gonna worry about the outside, it's supposed to rain tomorrow and Monday down here..
