    Hold up now.

Are you saying SIG makes a SAO non-1911 now? I have lusted after Sigs since childhood, but I only do single action or striker fired pistols. How did I not hear of this? Is it just the legion that is SAO or are there others? I MAY HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY BBQ GUN!

Yes they do and the trigger is freaking sweet too!!!

Wow that 10mm is awesome! How does it shoot? I have been a non Sig fan accept single stack for years. Meaning I have always liked the 220 or P6. But that looks awesome. I also want the new 225 and the new legion 229 feels much slimmer and I am very interested in it. Any experience with any of those?

My Dad got a 225 and it was only $100 less that what I paid for my Legion 229, it weighs basically the same as the 229 and is not that much thinner to boot. Plus since the 225 lacks the beaver tail of the Legion 229 the little nub thing digs into my hand when i shoot it not very fun.

As promised, here is my P220 compact sao.

I thought about the new P225s and may eventually get one, just because. But at this point, I keep thinking that I never carry my P239 so what would the P225 give me that would make me carry it if I did buy it.

Probably nothing to offer to make you carry it. I believe the P6/P225 or P225A1 to be a novelty or range gun. I have an excellent condition P6 but won't carry it due to it's weight/size vs capacity. It's most certainly a joy to shoot but my shield is more practical for the application of ccw.

My P938. This is a very sweet, fun-to-shoot pistol.

I never could find a thumb break owb holster for the SAO, so I went ahead and ordered an open top.[h=1]Galco AV248 Avenger[/h]
I hope I like it. Couldn't find many reviews on it.

Truthfully what is your opinion on the P6 trigger? I have hesitated buying one because I have read how bad they were due to police requirements.

That 228 looks to be in great shape for a police trade in.

The double action on the P6 sucks donkey #!@!!. Good news it that you can easily put in a P225 mainspring and fix it. Everything on the P6/P225 is interchangeable. The P228 just has lots of holster wear on the front of the slide and some on the dust cover. I feel like I got an excellent deal on it. Some place in New Jersey got 30 of them in on trade in and sold them for $430 with factory case and 3 mags on GB.

Point Blank in Greenwood has the P226 Legion SAO in their rental case. Got to rent it today and it was SICK! Gonna need to sell a couple other guns or start saving my pennies for one... :rockwoot:

I know I said a few posts ago that my next sig would be the Legion SAO, but I walked into my LGS today and they had one last W German P226 CPO left. So I had to buy it. They'll continue making Legions, but they're not making W German guns anymore

I really like my P226. Would like to get a Legion, but just can't justify buying one. Here are my ugly pictures of a nice gun.
