    So now I am torn. There is a difference between the Champion and the compact. The compact has a shorter grip and subsequent loss of 1 round. That is the one I looked at. Hmm. Also who has an opinion on the parkerized finish? That seems pretty chincy for a $800 gun.

    I would go with the Champion so you get the full size magazines. But the grip will print unless it is bobtailed or the shorter officers length. I suppose it is cheaper for a manufacturer to shorten then grip then to bobtail the gun.
