I bought a radar detector from Cincinnati Microwave (Escort) back in the 80s. Purchased it 4 weeks prior to going on a long driving vacation. A few days before I was due to leave I got a hand addressed post card from UPS in the mail that had a message on the back that stated "Your package is un-deliverable" due to the following reason. The box that was checked said "address illegible". So I had to call an 800 number for customer service. After giving them my address I asked "Where did you get the address to send me the postcard?" To my astonishment they told me "Off of the package". I received the radar detector a couple of days after I returned from vacation. I guess somebody up above was telling me that I didn't need to speed on vacation?
