Using duct tape to wrap presents

You should have only needed 12 pieces of tape, since each edge is the intersection of 2 sides of the box, no?

No. Tape each piece down one at a time, would be a pain in the butt to try and tape 2 sides of the gift with the same piece of tape.

I once sent a gift through the USPS. To make the box USPS kosher prior to addressing it, I just spray painted it powder blue. Could be another idea for you guys for gift wrapping next year.

My kids got my an vacuum oil extractor. I was in a pretty big box. They wrapped it in all the leftover scraps of wrapping paper and used duct tape with Christmas trees on it.

I gave it to him at an Outback Steakhouse at dinner. I was getting some weird looks carrying that around. :-)
