    In other words, the State will find a way to charge you if you step outside your door. Or if you stay indoors. As long as you're breathing, you're offending.

    ...and your fellow citizen will find a way to sue you. I guess its simply amazing we aren't all in jail, dead at the hands of the gov't, or impoverished by constant legal battles.

    My question had to do with the law.
    Handcuffs are considered restraints, and I'm pretty sure restraining police or non-police is already covered by law.
    I'm also pretty sure the law doesn't include this device.
    It falls into the "less lethal" spectrum. The "reasonableness" standard will dictate its use.

    The LRAD is a very loud speaker, but as another posted said, it is directional. Very directional. Also, it is capable of being driven to levels that cause injury and possibly worse. This makes it a weapon.
    Who would operate this device while it is aimed at "citizens"? How will Bubba Shovelholder be considered qualified to operate it?
    Would there possibly be a boy in blue or a boy in green at the controls?
