I had one for a while.

A Smith or Ruger will blow it out of the water. I literally sold mine immediately after buying an old Model 10, the difference in action and trigger was so dramatic.

Trigger serrations were painful with the extremely heavy trigger. The action did not feel polished (though this could be worked on). The parts, including the grip, were all proprietary and difficult or impossible to upgrade.

My GP100 is better in every way. Best thing I can say about the EAA is it did not suffer any outright failures.

What are the opinions on this brand, in 357, preferably from people that have owned one?

I have had both the 2" & 4" variants in years past. Great for what they are, a truck/farm/etc. type usefulness. I liked the 4" more then the 2". A bit more balanced, as they are built like Panzers. Weighty, but not unwieldy.

Never had any issues with fit, finish, or function on either. One came with, the other I eventually upgraded to their "Hogue style" grips (proprietary?).

I treated them much like a Charter Mag Pug, Taurus, and the like. Nothing more than a useful tool not to be held to the likes of an SP101, J-frame S&W, or other more "valuable" models.

In short, like a woman at last call. Not taking her home to the fam, but will get the job done when you need it to.

Had one years ago, the DA trigger was brutal.

I would put it on par with Taurus, Armscor, Rossi, Charter Arms.
They work, but to me there are better options.

It all depends on what you are expecting from it.

I had the snubbie for about a year.
Great gun for the money, $250 with 100 rds ammo (before Covid).
Shot well enough & was perfect for its intended purpose.
I just used it as a bedroom drawer gun.
Should have probably just kept it.
