Still partial to my Ruger MKII Slabside Competition Target. I have several .22 pistols and the ruger stands to still be my favorite.

Take a look at Ruger MK I, II or III Standad plus their Single Six. I've had
good luck with mine. It might take awhile to find a new MKIII, at least I can't find any in stock at this time but I'm sure they will in stock soon.

Gfs parents just gave me this for a grad present... have nothing but good things to say about it.... well, aside from the location of the mag release and the fact that I cant find high-cap mags for it... but its not a defensive gun so, load up!

Nothing personal, IndyGunner, but that thing is ugly!

I'll say the Ruger Mark III is a great gun - but not is you want something easy own. It's not too hard to disassemble, but it does require a fair bit of parts and work to make it a great gun.

For simplicity, or with new shooters, a wheel gun is hard to beat. I wish I had a Single Six or Ten right now.
