    I don't get it. If a car or boat is used in a crime they don't crush it and melt it. They sell that bad boy. You would think an appraiser could tell them what is worth reselling and they could do so. They are just SO married to the idea of the evil gun (it was used in a crime, dontcha know!) as opposed to an evil person wielding it.

    Several guns that I bought back when the MSCD had it's auction were rare antiques like Colt 1902s. They are melted today to make leadership look good to big media just like the ones in this picture.

    As stated by many, 3000 firearms which if sold to legal buyers out of state could have returned several million dollars to the state, county or city of stupidity. I guess they would rather fleece the few remaining taxpayers than sell these firearms, some of which look like nice pieces to own.

    I am sure the crime rate must be near zero by now! <--- Purple (obviously I hope)
