Just watched "Downsizing" on prime..... Interesting / intriguing Concept.... mediocre movie.

It was good to see the young guy grow a pair when faced with reality. The biggest problem was how fast the world devolved into lawlessness. Nothing changes that fast!

You have more faith in humanity than I do. I've seen my neighbors go ape**** because their cable was out for two hours. I can't imagine what would happen if all the power went out in the US for a day. It would be like The Purge.

Some of the bad guys were way too organized for just a couple of days into whatever happened. That's chaos time, not enough time to start setting-up choke points.

Just finished the first two seasons of Narcos on Netflix and it was really good. Started Narcos Mexico and it it is not so good.

I was a fan of the series when they were hunting Escobar in Colombia. This season not so much. Technically, it seemed the show used subtitles much more and they were difficult to read partly due to my eyes and partly due to the lack of contrast and the lack of time the subtitle was on screen.

I finished Babylon Berlin - crime drama set in the 30's. Very stylistic, very well done, but subtitled.
