    straight back instead of hinge type trigger. most are adjustable so it can be really customized for the user in regards to over travel.

    Really smooth trigger. They don't call the 1911 the "Gunfighters" pistol for no reason. The gun is simple and realiable.

    I agree with you. I find it interesting when I was at a training class the instructors were very ANTI 1911. Mostly due to people not properly training and forgetting to switch off the safety. However, some of it was due to their claims of higher failure rates in classes. (failure to feed, etc).

    I think learning to take the slack out on say, my M&P is more of a training issue than switching off the safety.

    When I brought up the trigger on the 1911 vs anything else, they had to agree.

    if u get a chance tp shoot one. make sure you have the money to buy one. because 3 guys at the range last week shot my kimber for the first time. and now two of them r trying to buy one. and the other guy just cant. wife wont let him.
