Looking to purchase the new Springfield Armory RO Elite Champion 9mm 1911. It was released this summer and seems to be popular being that it's sold out at Springfield.

In addition to wanting to trade my 26 for a 19, I want to get a snubbie. Either a 442, 642 or LCR. My wife isn't as gun-friendly as some of yours, I would imagine, so I try to keep my gun purchases few and far between.

My wife doesn't mind as long I use my "gun fund" and don't dip into the general ledger for funds. And I am tapped out for now. Which is okay because I have what I want and a little extra. This way if I see something I like better than my "extra" I can trade/sell still.

You'll like it. I have one . . . blued .357. Changed out the Hogue grip for the original, more traditional style Ruger used from Altamont with rosewood side panels. The handling and mass is excellent for handling hotter .357 loads. One of the excellent wheel gun values.

Update: They are available from Classic Firearms, ordered a CZ82.

Update to update: They are now out of stock. They had 2 giant crates of them YESTERDAY! Now they're gone. I guess they are starting to dry up, glad I finally got one.

I picked up a Walther PPS just this morning with six, seven and eight round magazines: $300.
This afternoon I picked up a Smith & Wesson 38 special model 10-8 from 1977-80: $275 with extra grips and speed loader.
