So much depends on the "favorite for what?" qualification. I mean for varmints my 22 CHeetah rules the roost, for a classic military rifle I would favor my Inland M1 Carbine, for pure accuracy my Savage 12 BVSS would be hard to beat, for big game my custom Browning BAR in 375/338 is the cock of the walk.

However if I had to pick my favorite rifle to shoot, for fun at the range, for hunting, for classic good looks I think I would have to go with my custom Browning 71 in 450 Alaskan. With full loads it is more than capable for hunting Africa, with my Trail Boss loads it can be shot by anyone without recoil being an issue. It is capable of near MOA accuracy at 100 yards and the action is the smoothest I have ever felt on a lever action.

My early 1894 .30WCF that was given to me by my grandfather, sure there are better rifles out there, I own a .280 70 featherweight and a .35 Whelen 700 but if I had to keep just one neither would stand a chance against my Grandpa's rifle.

You're list is very limited considering how open-ended the question is. I expect to see over 50% other.

    My favorite is my SKS.

Yep over 65% of "other" right now.

AR 15 and AK-47 are on my list.
I cant believe they are not even in the poll since they are so popular.:dunno:

Lol, yes you do, your missin out!. It is an Austrian sling also. Here is a better pic of the wood.

Where'd the wood and sling come from? I thought I saw that Ironwood might be making some for the FAL but didn't follow up on it since I still haven't even put the barrel on the new receiver yet. Beautiful furniture!
