Detroit is the foreshadowing of America under continuing policies of progressivism.

I've only seen my father cry a couple of times. Once was when I returned with him to Detroit.

He used to tell me grand stories of leaving GMI for the weekend and hitting Detroit. My fear is that looking at the ruins of Detroit that we may may a possible future of the entire country.

Was in Detroit and witnessed the aftermath of 1967 riots. Place looked like a war zone. Guess it's time again for urban renewal.

Go to youtube.com and look up "Detroit: City on the Move" and realize what was.

My dad was there '57 to '61 before Uncle Sam sent him to Mississippi. I shudder to think that Detroitification could spread.

Cleveland Ohio is very similar, I worked there for about 6 months last year and we did some research. It is a city made for 2 million and less than 400,000 live there. Crime is rampant and the place is scary.

Benton Harbor...right near Detroit. It is a total sewer. Had to go up there for work. Was supposed to be there for 2 weeks. 3 days in they stole my van and all the tools. I rode the bus home, quite that job and moved on. That was several years ago. Heard it is worse now. Yes, a view of things to come if the electorate in this country does not wake up. I hold little hope.

Shoot, they were selling big chunks of the city for urban farming not too long ago. Not sure if that is still going on or not. I lived a county north of Wayne at the turn of the century and did some business with GM and Ilitch's companies. Hated driving downtown to call on them. It's been a hole since I first started going there in '92. The Crow was fairly spot on for how it looked to me.
