When I say "Trump is going to win by 5 points" I think you all hear "YIPPEEEE...TRUMP is going to win by five points...AWESOMESAUCE!!!!" Where as what I am really saying is "**** me....Trump is going to win by 5 points...Wow....That's kind of messed up...I hope he does a good job..."

See there... that's why I like you.

Lot of context gets lost in simple text. Inflections in the voice, sarcasm, etc... You know what you're talking about. You've seen something to lead you to believe he's got it in the bag. I tend to see it a bit differently... and find it very difficult for someone doing so little to beat someone so big (Clinton). We'll just see what happens, none of us truly know right now.

Indy: That's one of those predictions that people copy and paste in a file. If you are wrong, it will be shown in responses to all of your future observations and opinions for the life of INGO.

Good...That's why I keep saying it so no one will forget..Here on INGO we make predictions all of the time (Jade Helm anyone?) that do not come to pass...

If someone wants to think I am a moron (and feels the need to remind me that I may have been off on a political prediction in the most unpredictable election cycle in my life time) I would say that says more about their insecurities than my predictive abilities...

The problem is that it is NOT unpredicatable. Those folks that think Trump has a realistic chance of winning are emotionally tied to a Clinton failure or unmindful that most of what Trump has said during this campaign. If this was sandlot softball, no one would choose him to be on their team, nevermind that he might own the bat, ball gloves and sandlot. He's really a sleazy human being.

But, I suppose, Clinton could stroke out during a debate, face plant and put the democrat's side in an uproar.....

    I'm not quite there yet.

Trump has a realistic chance of winning, if he can build on recent momentum to take both OH and PA (and FL).

Time is running out, and it is still a bit farfetched (like circumnavigating the North Pole in a sailboat), but possible.

Most of it has to do with 2 candidates that the bulk of the population doesn't like, but one of them is supposed to win. And if HRC drops out for health reasons, this cycle will have jumped the shark in terms of crazy.

Wow, the NeverTrump is strong in here today. Looks like they are sweating their anti-gun candidate staying upright until the election?

I am none of that....Trump is riding a populist anti politician wave.....When BREXIT went the way it did after ALL predictions were it would never pass I knew that Trump was going to win........He's the last wave...I am sorry..He just is...

Here is some information to explain why this year predictions based upon polls are not very predictable...

Given how corrupt our system has become, coupled with how terrible a candidate the Republicans have fielded this cycle, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if she won this thing from her grave.

Hell, half her voters are probably already there...

I can grok an anti-hillary/anti-politician wave...at least to some degree. But I won't vote for a person I consider to be dishonest and fraudulent in almost everything they have done and in what they say. And yes, Clinton has been dishonest AT TIMES. She has a long public record that can be picked apart. Trump? A real estate developer who doesn't pay his vendors. That's not the person I want to see running anything.

And Indy? It's not fair using The Dude against me. That is an unfair debate tactic! Foul!

Ease up on them...There is fear of the unknown...For the first time in my lifetime a non politician stands a good chance at the Whitehouse...That's scary for some folks...The old line "Blue Dog Democrats" have went the way of the Dire Wolf (the animal, not the Grateful Dead song...Which is awesome) and they are frightened....Union folks are splitting off to go with Trump...Some nevertrumpers began bringing out the "He and his supporters are Nazi's and racist's" schtick wwwwaaaayyyy too early...The fear of a Trump presidency is palpable....

    I can smell it...And it smells like...I don't know...Victory????

I've said it before, but I'm probably just going to leave the presidential selection on the ballot open and go straight to down-ballot races. Trump will likely win Indiana any way.

I won't need consolation......I just know he is going to win by 5 points....I am not that big a Trump supporter (although he will get my vote...)

I am just trying to prepare you all for his presidency and to remind you all to hold his feet to the fire the way you are now...I know we are going to have a Trump presidency and the common sense nevertrumpers that I count as my friends are going to have to keep on him harder then that you have been now...

Hang tough bro....you admit you will vote for Trump.I think I have only met a total of 5 Obama voters who admit to it.I am sure if the HAG won,I may not not get 2.......

Where did this accusation of fear come from? Now we're getting back into discounting a group of people because of wrongthink.

I don't think anyone here is afraid of Trump winning. Some here are realists and don't buy into the hype, and don't see things as uplifting and positively as some of you.

Trying to pin the term "fear" on people here for discussing this election is belittling.

Is it from the drive-by post from someone with absolutely no substance to contribute to the rest of the discussion we're having? The one with a history of making such posts, with no substance, only division? (Not you.)

He said I had smelly feet...So I pulled the "fear of the unknown" card from the deck...

Look...I'm a Trump supporter and I am a little afraid of a Trump Presidency...I don't see a little fear of the unknown as being cowardly or unhealthy...This is a brave new world we are heading towards...A Trump presidency sometimes gives me the heebie jeebies....

    IMHO...

I think that was double sarcasm, but I can't be sure any more. When smelly socks are taken as a personal insult, I'd say the skin is awfully thin.
