I wish they would quit making new pistols and get busy making Precision Rifles, esp in 308. They are so busy trying to make something new that they seem unable to make enough of them.

that compact is very attractive.. If it shoots like it looks and has a good line of holsters and mags then i could easily be persuaded to snag one very soon. The serialized part being a removavle chassis is also an interesting feature. Leaves ruger with a lot of potential after market options. Would love to test drive

Picked up the compact last night from the only shop in town that had one. I really liked the RAP full size and knew I would want the compact. It is very close in size to my SR9c, and the G19 at the LGS. It feels great in my hand, and will conceal well. Came with a 12 and 17rnd mag.

It was missing the sleeve for the 17rd, and the flat base plate for the 12rd. My dealer was going to call his supplier, and I called Ruger. Should get some extras out of it. The compact is so new Ruger didn't have all it's info in their computers yet, or any stock parts. He assured me he would call me as soon as they get parts. Now for a holster.....

the Mk's are hard to take apart and re-assemble? hmm wonder why I never noticed that. Oh, that's why... I never clean them. :)

Mk4 does look nice, esp if it doesn't have a stupid loaded chamber indicator...
I just bought a Mk iii for a silencer host. darn it!

maybe I missed it, but I didn't watch all the vids, etc...

does the new mkIV use the same mags as the mkIII? new mags? etc? I may want one, but not if I got to buy even more mags. I was PO'd when I had to buy more mags for the mkIII ....

New Release, October 6, 2016: Ruger LCP 2.0 (a text message would be cool and all letting me know when I can blab about the new guns, *ahem*)

The probable retail should make this a hot seller for Ruger.

Truly amazing. A New version of the LCP. Wow.

I really want a recision rifle in 308 and Ruger keeps telling me they're in the making. I know they use different plants and lines within plants to make different products. I see every different caliber they have for this rifle in the shops but never a 308. I have had one on order since these came out. They had issues at first and have worked them out. I see people online with them but have never seen one in person.

    Whoopie! A new LCP.

My only question is, where the heck can you get one? I may have to wait a few months til the hype dies down. This will fill my pocket pistol niche that's been empty since I sold off my Kahr P380 and TCP because they were completely unreliable.

Told my wife I need to buy one because I still have some .380 ammo laying around :):

Ruger's pattern is to not officially announce a gun until it is already in the channels. Depending on demand, you may still have a hard time finding it, but they are already being shipped.

Phiper or how ever you spell it (the ceo) said they would be coming out with some of the Ruger Precision Rifles for lefties... I've been waiting forever, I think I may as well just spend extra money and build one. All of these product releases get me pumped only to be let down.
