The police and mall security/management are already being questioned about why they didn't prevent the unruly behavior before it started.
News reports say that the recent Castleton fight stemmed from an on-going argument between two teenage girls over a boy. I'm sure there's more to this story.

So they had spontaneous events all across the country at malls just to support these girls? That is so sweet.

I'm just glad the mall is a gun free zone, I mean how safe do I feel taking my family knowing there is not one person carrying a gun in this large facility... except me!!!! Are you kidding me, I wouldn't walk a foot inside those doors without a gun.

One of the Muncie mall's security girls was working her other part time job at a kiosk. One of the other security youngsters was standing there about an hour ago gossiping with her and got a call and took off running. Kiosk girl said a group of about 10 large young males entered a couple of hours before and were exhibiting pack behavior. Apparently folks in Muncie just don't have the same sense of humor that other folks do.

Not just you. I don't go there often, but I'm always carrying when I do.

The last few times I've been to the mall (Fashion & Cassleton) I have SEARCHED for the "no firearms" sign. I used main entrances, theatre entry, store entry.

I swear. I saw not a single sign notifying me I couldn't carry.

Are y'all just kidding about the mall being a gun free zone?

A few of these yutes get shot by innocent bystanders, this **** will stop PDQ. But then we'd hear all about how he was a good boy, turning his life around. Then I'll punch the TV and have to go buy a new one again.

Is it typical to want to shoot people involved in fight that you aren't involved in, and aren't endangered by? Which person do you pick to shoot? I'm just trying to figure out at what point someone's safety in compromised by other people fighting, and what crime has been committed against the innocent bystanders.

Your idea of not involved in, nor endangered by, can change at ANY moment, in these situations? I mean, why do you carry a gun on a traffic stop?
