Christmas......a shortened way of saying Christ Mass.

Another way Protestants still fall under the influence of the Pope.

    Most don't even know it.

Oh, we Baptists know it. We just can't muster enough consensus to come up with an alternative, what with individual church autonomy and all.

Well, actually it was originally a pagan holiday that celebrated the winter solstice. As pagans "converted," the attached Christian symbolism into their holiday. If you've ever made reference to "Yule" in any form, you're giving a nod to it's pagan roots.

Also the Christmas Tree is adapted from the Solstice holiday. And I believe the December 25th date. (Or January 7th,, 17th, etc depending on your calendar)

Where have you been? The baker downtown was sued for not making cupcakes for an event...bakers were sued across the country for the very same thing.

Yeah, I think there were local ordinances that sort of, kind of like the gun pre-emotion bill, that precipitated this.

I'm not saying it didn't happen. But in reading several stories about it, no law suits were mentioned. Just the ****-storming, and the victory lap the media did about the bakery going out of busness. Did the original RFRA that was lassed even address preemption of local ordinances?

Just wondering, what the appeal of Trump to a murdering Nationalist from Canada? He's clear that Trump can't "Make Canada Great Again," right?

Right, but I also read that he liked to play chess and didn't like Fidel Castro. That just explains it all, doesn't it?

Some would say that Trump's rhetoric appeals to people like the Canadian terrorist.

Some would say that makes this shooting Trump's fault; others only imply it.

You know, you're right. We've seen the that sentiment regularly on INGO. I personally, fault the shooter for the shooting.... but, that doesn't mean one who has certain beliefs, doesn't have those beliefs strengthened by a particular person or idea; a person who has no physical culpability in the actual crime. I bet you agree.
