Well he's certainly is creating an empire, that some would say has a slight fascist flair. Those that see it, know exactly what they're getting into. :dunno:

Dude, turn off the NPR for a second. And for the love of Pete, the Young Turks aren't a good source for talking points. Take a second and reevaluate what is actually happening, instead of buying whatever you hear from the opposition, or anyone else, for that matter.

Woo Saaaahh. In through your nose, out through your mouth. You are feeling less emotional. Your mind is becoming clear again.

Its been what - 10 days?

And his biggest EO so far wasn't exactly smooth.

I remain unconvinced whether he can get the trains to run on time.

As I said elsewhere, with some of the rhetoric being thrown around by Trump's supporters, it is getting more difficult to defend the charge. But the transition from a slight fascist flare all the way to full on Hitler, dude, you and all the hyperbolic left are blowing the **** out of Godwin's Law. Yer greasing that slope.

Nah...The refugee EO had some significant gaffs in its execution but he's doing exactly as he promised he'd do during the election. We knew (at least he promised) he would do this. It wasn't cool to hold up people that were already vetted and that's fixed, I think. But it's not fascist. If anything, it's finally a breath of fresh air to see someone put the PC kool-aid down.

Well, Trump obviously isn't Hitler.... but he's playing up Nationalism and Populism in a very bad way.

    Speaking of NPR...

Andre Carson was on there this morning trying to make claims about evil white supremacist in Indiana and how that's the real threat. :noway:

NPR openly stated that his statements had no truth to them. :yesway:

Around Quebec? I'm all for it. I have a theory that this is where hipsterism originated.

I too have thought that...Care to expound on your theory???? There seemed to be an uptick in hipsterism right about the time the Quebec secession movement started....

I have no use for, and actually have a strong dislike for "dre". The anti-gun mooslim, like most of our elected EMPLOYEES seems to think that it`s his opinion that matters over what the Constitution of the United States says. And just like the POS we just now FINALLY got out of the White House, this one only shows up when it`s something personal to him. And yet, the trailer park street thugs continue to vote his worthless butt back into his lifetime job.

I think it's not as bad as the hyperbole from the left says it is. They've overreacted to everything. As I've said, they've dialed it up to 11 on everything. Trump is certainly doing exactly what his supporters wanted. He has stated he is a Nationalist. Though nationalism is more towards the fascist end of the spectrum, trying to say that it IS fascism is binary thinking. There's a scale. And for Trump the needle leans a little that way. And that's what got elected. Compared with anything from history, we're not talking 4th reich here. But compared to how far towards progressive socialism Obama has pushed us, I can see why people think so.

I will say this though. The polls have suggested that ~20% voted for Trump more because they were voting against Hillary. For those people Trump is exceeding his mandate. I voted for Trump because that and the criminal were the only choices. Even Trump is better than any progressive Democrat. I would take Trump over another Obama in a heartbeat. We've gone as left as most non-leftists can tolerate, which is another demographic that supported Trump. And I fit into that one too. While I'd rather not go one notch closer to fascism than Trump, but I'd also not want to go one notch further left.

I like the song. I wouldn't really say I'm in the middle though. I'm just trying to wade through all the BS on both sides, figure out what's real, and side where my priorities are, issue by issue.

Kind of like when RFRA was being attacked. I disagreed with it (like Trump) but was (am) pissed off in the way it made me look like (am) an ardent supporter when I spoke up against those hyperbolically, going over the top, with their criticisms.

I didn't know he was Muslim - that explains his biases (more).
