Did anyone ride today? I worked some OT so i didn't make it out.

Our chapter of WOW made a group ride to Parkview restaurant in New Castle. Had great food, fun, and a nice ride. Was good to get back in the saddle again. Must be careful at this time of year, cagers are not used to us yet (if ever) and county roads are not in good condition.

My annual reminder to WATCH OUT for potholes and road debris.... be safe out there.

Can't be said enough. Just found out my next door neighbor went for a ride this afternoon and didn't make it home:(. He was one of the nicest guys that I've had the pleasure of meeting. Praying for his family.

It is looking good for some riding in the next few days. I went to the motorcycle show in Chicago last weekend. I am really liking those new Indians, kind of pricy though.

My wife is off this weekend and I haven't won her over with riding, yet. Instead we are going to the expo and boat sport and travel show. Then coming home and dusting off our bicycles on Saturday. Plan to be outside as much as possible this weekend.

My first motorcycle was a 1989 Yamaha Radian. I had just started dating, my now, wife.
    Radian.jpg
I asked her if she wanted to go for a ride. She said, "No! Not until you get a REAL motorcycle." She had 3 older brothers that all had Harleys. She had her own as well:

So, when the time came, I bought a 2005 HD Softail Deluxe when they first came out - first one sold at Sacramento HD

Sold that when we moved from CA to ND... :(
Last summer we got a 2007 Deluxe in on trade at the dealership and we snatched it up. At first Da Missus was, "We'll take a look, but it's not in the budget." Then when she saw it, "Looks nice." Then they fired it up... she shivvered... Nuff said.

What highway pegs are you running?
Que, I am running the same pegs. They are Harley not aftermarket. They are very adjustable for your riding style. They slide up or down on the engine guard for if you like your legs high or low. Then they pivot to move your pegs forward or back. On my link you can see I have mine adjusted slightly forward stretching my legs out where IndyIn has his adjusted back, and you can also adjust what angle the pegs are at for how you like your foot placement on the pegs. I love mine and highly recommend them. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/...580.1073741838.1380526714&type=1&l=991bfa9a33
