I carry using a Remora with sweat guard, it works , I have used several others but nothing is as easy to wear as the Remora. You can carry it in any inside waistband position and it is comfortable, If holstering, you need to remove the holster, that is the only issue with the Remora.

Maddog1 I have been using most of the inside waistband holsters, and have boiled it down to just two, I use a Don Hume, and the one I now use most is a Remora. I like the fact that it is so comfortable and has no clips to scratch up the furniture, I had a hard time believing that it would hold...
I don't own the 740 but I do own and shoot a CW 40 and it is a great carry gun. The recoil is snappy but is not hard to use, I have put maybe 500 rounds of all kinds of ammo through mine without a jam, fail to fire or any other problem.

Mike I have a Savage MKII BV and love it. I did work on the trigger to lighten it some but my rifle will shoot less then one inch groups at 100 yards. I found CCI standard velosity to be the most accurate in it followed closely by CCI 40 grain mini mags. Ely target and sport also work about as...
Using a sling will help stablize your shooting from any position, I recomend you get one of the quick adjusting nylon slings, the width should be over 1" and extended you should be able to shove your left arm through and wrap your left wrist around and grab the forarm of the stock, as you pull...
I decided to lighten up the trigger some more on my new Savege MKIIBV , and wound up removing two and half coils from the trigger spring, I now have it at 1.5 lbs, and breaks like glass. My buddy Red and I are about to have heat stroke from shooting at his 100 yd. range. So far the best ammo is...
I removed the bolt, then the barreled action from the stock, I took the parts out to my workshop and washed the entire bolt and trigger area with carb cleaner. I spread white paper towel out to catch any stuff that comes out, and I think you will be supprised how much stuff falls out. I turned...
