What's your preference? SA, SA/DA, or DA?
I like SA and DA/SA. My first handgun was a P226, and for carry guns I have always felt more comfortable with a long first pull. Of you shoot enough, it is not a big deal to get used to it. That said, there is nothing unsafe about a 1911 for carry. I personally cannot stand DAO guns with their... -

Quick Review: Springfield XDs .45 3.3" Review
Got my XDs last week. FFL processed through BZ Guns out of Plainfield for $15... My go to. This is is the FDE frame, black slide version. Came in a standard case with a 5 rd flush fitting mag and a 6 round "mid" extended mag which is .25" longer than the flush fit. Also came with the other... -

10mm carbine-- thoughts?
I don't see how this would be superior or even equal to a centerfire rifle chambering. Once I realized this point, it steered me away from a Sub2000 to a folding stabilizing grip AK pistol for my truck gun. Ain't much bigger, and way more effective.
