      Harvesting garden-grown sweet potatoes: curing?

      Sweet potatoes are to picked and stored with minimal handling. The sugar moves through the potato with each rotation/movement in storage and this causes it to not be as good and spoil quicker. I agree with pick them, pack them and leave them alone in the basement until ready to cook with them.

      In order to keep chickens laying they need a certain amount of light per day. I think around 14-16 hours. If you do not supply a light source they will quit laying as the days shorten.       I have a friend looking for an 870 combo in 20ga. He said it was over $500 at GM. I they're usually high but that sounded way overpriced. Does anyone know where he can get a reasonable deal on the combo?

      I was using in 10/22. Do the rounds often not eject from the barrel? Sounds dangerous in long guns.

      Is there a particular brand or type of .22 subsonic ammo that will cycle well or is it just a problem with the slower load? It seems everything I have tried in a semiauto does not want to cycle and has to be manually ejected.
