      Small .45 options and opinions....

      I carried a XDM45 compact for a few years. You can switch between a 9 round mag or a 13 round magazine. I'll put my vote on the XDS 45, I ran 300 rounds through the one I have with no problems.

      I just recently put Trijicon HD on my Glock 19. I like them alot, I vote Trijicons for the reasons stated above.

      I use a IWB Galco Triton for my Glock 19, i did upgrade to the belt loops. The clip doesn't seem to catch on to my belt.

      I carry 2 extra mags in the vehicle I'm in and I carry a extra mag on my person along with my EDC.

      I was in the same position. Girlfriend did not like guns so for her birthday I got her a Walther P22. She loves it. It's been almost a year and I told her we need to move her up. She did not like my xdm45. So we went down to my Sig P238. She shot it well and liked it.

      How do you store your bedside gun?

      My EDC stays with me all day until I go to bed at night then it stays on my night stand the rest of the night. I keep a few options throughout the house.

      The gf has never been shooting ever. So I went ahead and got her a Walther p22 for her birthday. We went to the range and she put 100 rounds rounds through it and she loves it! She was pretty accurate with it. I figure she'll put a couple hundred more rounds through it and we'll start looking...

      I got fingerprinted non L1 in January 7th I just got my pink slip on Jun 25. 6+month wait time and clean record.

      I applied on 1/7/13 non L1 and still haven't received anything. My Va permit doesn't expire till 2015 so I still have 2 years.
