A friend was walking her dog outside of LaPorte and found this g43 on the road. She gave it to LaPorte Co Sheriff's dept in case anyone is looking for it. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

Some guy put Andy's gun down his pants against his twigs & berries!

Dang, I knew I forgot something. I work with the buyer so I guess I could let him read this. He may want his money back.

Profile pic is a stock photo but it looked the same. I am sad to announce the gun has been sold. Last seen in New Carsile. Its been replaced by a Colt Competition Government.

I'm still the proud owner. Proud being purely cynical.

Sadclown told me the story AFTER I paid for the gun.

I cringe everytime I see this thread revived. I still have it. The sights are still a hair off.

That would be me. Still have it. Still my favorite 1911. I did get a new barrel fit from Ruger so some of the stink is gone.

      Do you price match?

I always found this interesting with Buds. How do you pay cash for somthing you buy on line? My LGS is always 15 to 25 more than on line, but when I make a purchase, its in my hands that day and not waiting for shipping that could take weeks.

UPDATE - Andy's gun has a new barrel and a baby brother. I just picked up the SR1911 Commander from Sadclown. The new barrel is a sad story involving a squib and some great customer service from Ruger.
