      I want to trade one of these 1911 for an AK since I only need one. Both the Remington 1911 R1 and Ruger 1911 come with two factory mags, box, manual, and one extra wilson combat mag.

      CZ guns

      Who else in here think that CZ pitols are way under rated? For the price range from $450-$650, they are hard to beat. I have owned and shot quite a few over the years, and very impress with the quality. I think that CZ should be in the same level with Sig snd HK.

      Striker fired pistol

      Yep, you'll be lucky if you break even by reselling your guns or trading your guns, unless you got a good deal originally; otherwise, you'll lose your ass off. It happened to me almost every time I traded my gun. :(

      For $470, there are alot of better gun out there. Ruger make good gun but somehow I wouldnt spend thst much on a Ruger pistol. You may able to pick up a nice Glock, HH VP9, FNX9, and many other off FB gun groups or armslist. My two cents.

      Basements and Storage

      If flooding is a main concern, then move to higher ground. I keep lots of canned food and ammo in can in the basement. Those can be replacable after the flood, but cant be replaced during shtf. :)

      Best NON-GLOCK 9mm full sized handgun

      Sigs are nice guns and they are considered cadilac of guns. I have a few myself but I dont carry any Sig since they are a little heavy for me. I like HK especially the USP compact and P30 because they are super light and very accurate. HK P30 is an EDC for me.

      Educate me on the different quality levels of AK47 magazines

      Any metal mag works fine as long as not those cheap korean mags. Chinese flatback mags work best for me. Croatian works great for low cost but some minor modification is needed. $14 Bulgarian mags from CDNNsports are also good mags.

      Agree! Most Russian AKM are for real combat, not for wall hanger. I would pick any Russian or Maadi over any other AK any day except Arsenal. Arsenal AK is beyond excellent and their price are worth it.

      AR15

      True! But sometimes you get for what you paid. :). I can tell a big world of different between shooting my old LWRC M6A2 and a MP15. Some expensive guns are worth it, but some are just the name.

      .22, .22lr, .22wmr

      what is the advanatage of 22wmr anyway? .22lr can do almost as same as damage as the 22wmr but cost about half. 17wmr is a better cal but the cost is about the same as 22wmr or maybe less. I really dont see the meed for 22wmr.

      Latest deal on AK mags thread

      I know that Crotian mags wont fit any Chinese AK some some other, just a minor modification and they'll fit all AK. I had to dremeled out a little bit on the mag lips to get them fit correctly. None of ny Arsenal have any issue with Crotian mags.
