This guy (https://www.youtube.com/user/JoergSprave) has sling shots covered. :D
Of course, for some of those you need to be a hulking Nordic dude to use, but still...very cool.
Looks like that Russian-Monsanto War article is bogus.
snopes.com: Russia Warns Obama: Monsanto
Not saying Monsanto doesn't deserve being declared war on. Nor am I disputing that pesticides are killing off more than just pests. Just that I couldn't find a shred of credible evidence backing...

The .22 gets a fair amount of derision for being weak but no one volunteers to play .22 tag, so... :dunno:;)
As far as SHTF firearms:
Any gun > no gun
Gun you're good with > FU-5000 Manstopper you've never trained with
Sharp stick > no sharp stick
A buddy watching your back = priceless...
“There is a world, just beyond now, where reality runs a razor thin seam between fact and possibility; where the laws of the present collide with the crimes of tomorrow. Patrolling these vast outlands is a new breed of lawman, guarding the fringes of society’s frontiers, they are known...
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, Aaron. Very cool. I'm not into the militia thing but best of luck to you and the ISL.

This is my stance on militias as well. I don't see the value or attraction of labeling a group "militia" or using military ranks in a civilian...
Hey Aaron. I have some basic questions that I'm sure will highlight my lack of knowledge regarding militia groups, but here it goes.
Why call yourself a militia group? That specifically implies an armed group and generally implies wilderness compounds, manifestos, and Spam. If the ISL are...
It's okay, man. We don't have to think. The government can think for us. Let them worry about the MSM. They have committees and studies and stuff, and if the MSM is saying things that aren't true then .gov will deal with them. All we need to worry about is American Idol.
Thanks for the heads up. I always assume that .gov can/will pull all my electronic data if they should decide to, regardless of any pesky laws/rights that say they can't. They take the adage 'it's better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission' and twist it to be 'it's better for you to do...
I've heard that number quoted a lot recently. Usually as sound bites of an anti-gun lobbyist railing against the pro-2nd folks (John Stewart used it a couple days ago on the Daily Show). The interesting thing is that they usually just say '90% of Americans are in favor of background checks'...
Pretty much this. People that think they know what's best for everyone else and are willing to use force to get their way (for the good of everyone, naturally).
Obama - the clap of the new generation.
Never go with products with "tard" in the name (leotard, unitard, tardis, etc).
Go with this:
It travels through time, flies, uses garbage as fuel, drives like a car and is stylish as a mofo. Grays Sports Almanac not included...
10,000x THIS!!
That's the thing that instantly raised a red flag about the show Doomsday Preppers. If they were, I don't know, actually serious about prepping then why on Earth would they let a TV show not only film them (with their actual names and unblurred faces) but show their approximate...
