      Sounds to me like the guy was PO'd and was really kinda looking for a reason to shoot. If I thought a dog was dangerous, I wouldn't get close enough for it to attack me.

      Seems easy enough. I went to Ohio quite a bit this summer and was considering getting my Utah license. Perhaps AZ is the way to go. Thanks for the info.

      I'm not going to be shooting at YOU, unless you're drooling and dragging one leg behind you when you walk. :) I also won't be shooting at zombies that are 200 yards away. They aren't a threat to me. I'll be shooting them from 10-20 yards. 12ga seems like the best weapon for this to me...

      I have also seen some that are small and hook onto your keychain. They look like one of those external computer drives. All you have to do it put your hand in your pocket and push the button. I would imagine an internet search would be required for those.

      I have one made by Olympus. It has about 20 hours of recording time and the sound quality is superb. Came with a belt holster as well as a usb cord to backup recordings to your PC. I think it was $50 or $60.

      If your firearm makes an appearance, I would assume it is because (and only because) you fear for your life, in which case shooting to wound gives the predator a better chance at killing you. It would suck if I were to shoot an attacker in the shoulder to "stop him" and then have him recover...

      In this instance, the GG gave the BG a complete pass which allowed him to run away and have a second chance at killing someone in the home. Guy kicks door in, you don't recognize him, empty magazine = live.
