      I have hunted turkey for years with shotgun. I am considering using the crossbow this spring. Is there a good reason to use a bow or should I stick with shotgun? I am not interested in guesses. I would like to hear from experience that has tried both.

      Do kids need a fishing license?

      Youth do not need a license until they are 18. There are also free fishing days so the whole family can participate. The first is this Saturday, April 20. Then May 18 and June 1 and 2. If taking the kids fishing on days other than these, be sure to get a license.

      favorite goose recipes

      January 15-16 I am going to be promoting goose hunting with cooking programs. Do you have any favorite recipes or preparation for canada goose? My normal prep is to cube it, put it in a marinate overnight, and serve in a stir fry. Now I am ready for more ambitious recipes.
