      Sig 1911-22

      Finally got to shoot it yesterday. Great shooter. Picky on ammo though just like I expected. Did well with CCI and not as bad as i thought with some cheap Federal.

      What was your first handgun?

      Glock 36. Single stacked .45 ACP. Didn't like it though. It always pinched my finger in the gap between the grip and magazine.

      Recommendations - .22 Pistol that will cycle sub-sonic ammo

      I used to have a Walther P22 and it never cycled anything but CCIs. Someone i work with has the same problem. I loved the gun though. Lost it in a divorce though. Was sad tobsee it go.

      I have different hanguns that i carry depending on what I'm wearing. Some conceal better than others obviously. A good holster also helps.

      Scope for my new Savage .308?

      I had never used a scope with an AO untill a few years ago. I was hooked immediately. I would agree that it's worth the extra money.

      Okay! Give me your advise on Savage rifles in .17HMR

      I ahve a Savage .22 Mag. Ive always been happy with it. The bolt is fairly smooth and it's always shot well. My dad owns a Savage .17 HMR. He loves it. I've witnessed some pretty amazing shots made with it.
