I am by no means new to the gun world but have always wondered.....why does a name brand (insert the name of your favorite brand)shotgun cost more or even a lot more that a high quality rifle.

I recently picked up 2 new Colt 1911's... a Wiley Clapp commander and the newest of the bunch a Two Tone full sized rail gun.
Now I know the Wiley Clapp was "finished" outside but the rail gun is all Colt. I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the gun overall. I have several models...

Yesterday I participated in a defensive handgun course in Lima OH....worth every nickle and a great instructor...the old guy next to me was shooting a relatively new High Point sub compact in 9mm....
Over the course of the day and shooting 250 or so rounds I never saw a hand gun FTE...
Well I just got my Utah non resident license....It took 52 days from the time they took payment on my charge card....:rockwoot:

Anyone know anything about the Brolin 1911's? This is the first time I eversaw or heard of them.
I have some of the standard Federal Bulk pack .22 from Wally World and just recently picked up a couple of boxes of Federal bulk "Champion" .22 in 550 bulk pack for the same price, different colored box......did some research here and didn't find specifics.....
