Bought A Friends Abandoned Off Road Hunting/Camping/Fishing Trailer

Looks like a solid frame. Have fun with the build!

      2019 Deer Season

I agree with you about him needing a lesson in abiding by the law. I'm smart enough not to let people like that get me into trouble. I posted his comment to pose the ethical point. I would always make the same decision. I take wildlife laws seriously...

      2019 Deer Season

I've been passing on several deer. That changed yesterday. I had a big bodied mature buck come out of a thicket 10 yards and without hesitation...whack. Walked about 15 yds and down. Not much in the antler department. So much for patience. This is my normal instinct as I generally hunt for...

      2019 Deer Season

Took Friday off from work. Thinking Friday/Saturday are going to be good hunting. I don't usually hunt antlers but I am this year. Passed on ALOT of deer. We'll see how it works out. Good luck to everyone and congrats to those who've filled tags.

      2019 Deer Season

Deer all over me this morning. Kicked up a big buck by my stand to start. Still dark but all I saw was big white antlers bouncing away. Had a basket and a decent 8 hang around offering me perfect shots for about a half hour. Saw the big boy later at a distance through the brush but he never...

      Nancy just forked herself.

I don't really see a political extreme here. I see it as someone changing their political affiliation as they become more informed. Why does someone going from Clinton to Trump indicate to you they are lacking "any political thought whatsoever"?(other than the obvious)

      Upland Hunting

I have a 26" Beretta 686 and 28" Citori. I prefer the 28" for shooting clays with my buddies(because it's insanely good for that) but usually grab the 26" for doves. Choke and ammo make more difference. I bought a new A300, shot it a little, and gave it to my brother. Good gun but I prefer...

      So much for my pond...

Spot On. I've eliminated beavers and muskrats, kept turtles in check, and chased off geese for years. If you make life uncomfortable for unwanted critters they will leave. Your pond life will come back with time and maybe some restocking, sucks you have to go through it.

      2019 Deer Season

Well that sucks. I've been in that boat the last few years. In my line of work it happens every year about the middle of October. Overtime starts this time every year, waiting on it and hoping I can get one before it starts. I've been out a few times and watched lots of does and passed on a...

Why big bumpers are a good thing.

I have a big ole ranch hand bumper on my ram 3500 but as luck would have it I have hit deer with 2 other vehicles. I think the deer fear my bumper.

      When does the “hunt” end?

I would do the same in the same situation.

      Does privacy still exist?

Until they want to care about it. I agree most likely unless "they" decide they want to know about us we're ok, but it's still kinda creepy that they can. Life today does kinda look like the book 1984. Ain't much you can do about it. I don't do any social media(except INGO of course), and...

2019 Shed Hunting - Time to Start?

Came across two nice bucks out driving around in the snow yesterday. Both still had antlers. I've never found any while intentionally looking. I have found a few accidentally just riding around. I suspect the critters get to them pretty quick.

Firearm for squirrel and other small game

Nothing icky about it. I admit I'm not that good of a shot. When I hunt, I hunt to kill. I'm a fan of using the most effective tool for the job. I've never understood why anyone would spend hundreds of dollars on a rig to kill tree rats?

Firearm for squirrel and other small game

No reason to buy anything unless you just have an itch. I almost always grab my 30 year old 870 12 gauge for squirrels and wabbits.

Shut her down boys, shut her down.

I think this is going to backfire on the Democrats. I've thought about this alot and have come to the conclusion that there are MANY problems with border security that need fixing. Why not spend the money to slow things down with a wall that can be defended? I, for one, am tired of the...

Sure looked like at least a button in the first pic but the second pic doesn't. Hard to tell but certainly an interesting pic.

Shut her down boys, shut her down.

You state that as fact, when in fact it is opinion. What is this shutdown about, in your opinion? To clear up my interpretation of middle America(notice this time I didn't use quotes), I'm referring to the majority of states between the coasts that voted for Trump based on campaign promises...
