Weak steel? I don't know. But the pools were top notch. Did you know that the swimming pools on the Titanic still have water in them? Amazing! I know!

The elevator upgrades that were occurring during the building of the Titanic provided the perfect ruse to allow the collaborators to start the fires undetected

The captain was not capable of hitting the iceberg. Only highly trained seaman can hit things. Nor could he have followed a route through the ocean.

The Titanic didnt sink at the correct rate, something must have been holding it up. Thus a fire heating the air (similar to a hot air balloon), caused the Titanic to remain buoyant longer then it should have.

The Titanic sank because there was missing MI6 money hidden on iceberg 7. What better way to deceive the whole world by focusing all the attention on the Titanic..... Only high school seniors in film class were smart enough to look at the iceberg and the hidden money.

That sounds like an analogy based on true events, but was there a conspiracy behind it?

That might depend on how he described the event to the insurance company.

Was there any temptation to hide or destroy evidence?

Was there anything to be gained by lying?

Everyday events are great comparisons, lacking the emotional distortions associated with larger-scale, more horrific events.

Most deceptions are easy, natural, cherished even.

    People do.

Ah, so they used the buoyancy of people to keep the Titanic afloat. So I suppose the old theory was, the buoyancy slaves were crushed by the icebergs, and when they ceased to float, the Titanic sank. The new theory, of course, would be that it was a fire that prevented the buoyancy people from keeping the Titanic afloat. Presumably they died from smoke inhalation and let go of the boat, causing it to sink.

    Makes sense.

Not sure where you're going with any of that, but human bodies do float in the water, at least for a while.

Humans don't float in air as naturally, but that would be another discussion related to a different event.

Air? No. no. no. You got that all wrong. The buoyancy slaves would have been in the water, floating, hanging onto the ship keeping it afloat. you know. since steel doesn't float and all. Good as any of the alternate 9/11, birther, sandy hook theories.

How many buoyancy slaves would it take for you to care? How many human bodies, floating, bouncing off the sidewalk, pulverized in mid-air, would it take for you to stop this chattering and really engage?

What do you care about?

    I'll find it ...eventually.
