I wonder why this match hasn't drawn as many big name shooters as the Area 5 match?

I see Rob Vogel in a squad, but it seems to be only folks around the State who are shooting.

Are the Area matches for cash instead of prizes/trophies?

Area 1 is the same weekend.
Also alot of those big matches give the GM's free slots to come and shoot because of their sponsors.
Manny was going to come be he has a wedding, Clint Upchurch wanted to but could not make it.

We got people from Colrado to Florida and Canada coming, don't worry there will be plenty of competition going on!!

ah, didn't realize other big matches were going on. I think it's cool, the more I start to learn about the sport, the more interesting it becomes.

Then again, I remember when first got interested in shooting made a post about "that Jake Martens guy" and his videos ;)

Glad to know I have such good friends and mentors :D

    there's a mind-F! I like it!

Jake, I see you designed all the stages starting with an unloaded gun... wife won't let you keep one loaded at home? :D

Seriously, stages look great. Gonna be a fun match. Now get the bribes to the weatherman in place...

Only one suggestion (and maybe it's in the plan just not on the paper or it'll look different on the ground), but on stage 2 it looks like you need barrels/walls in front of the swingers...

I think that stage will be interesting as well, how many times do you put one round in a cardboard target

I am going to bet that there will something in front of those swingers :D

I don't know, you ever see how fast Jake can dump 4 rounds in the general direction of a wide open swinger?
    :D

And the sad part is, he hits them, most of the time.

Nice job Ahab/Caleb for pimping the Indiana Section match to Ben Stoeger while interview him on Gun Nuts Radio, it'll be cool if he could make it.

I would that you take the day off from posting on the forums and spend that time sending thank you letters to the sponsors. They get hundreds of request every week asking for donations. We all like walking away from the prize table with something and the only way that we can show our appreciation is with our $$ and with our words of thanks!!

I need to look at the stages, but isn't there only one unloaded start?
Hell we put these together 8 months ago, haven't really looked them lately.
That being said, what is on paper and what ends up on the range should be close.......maybe
(I just draw them on paper by hand, and then give them to coach, he does the rest.)

Looks like 1 and 5 are unloaded table starts... I don't care, just givin ya grief. :)

I ASSumed such an opening for gamers as those swingers would be addressed on the range, but I know how it goes if you hand the diagram over to someone else to put up, things can get overlooked. just thought I'd point it out. Hell, maybe it'd be more fun the way it's shown. ;)
