About ready to fire Netflix

I used to reenact 18th century frontier history...I was so stoked when it came out and I barely got through the first episode....The props and clothing were just way too off for me and I found myself yelling at the TV too much...I may give it another try...With the proper amount of bourbon I may be able to pull it off...

From that perspective I would agree. I enjoyed it over all but I don't put much stock in the historical accuracy of the show.

I understand people being upset with some of the programming on Netflix but think of it this way:

every dollar you spend on Netflix is $5 that didnt go into CNN's pocket

I just temporarily fired Netflix. They took the X-Files off today. I'll have to deal with commercials and continue watching it on Hulu.

Exactly! So many forms of entertainment are looking for shock value now. Hoping people watch to see what all the outrage is all about. This includes the news nowadays too. I watch or don't what I want and ignore the rest.

Netflix is a free market kind of thing. They offer a wide variety of content, including stuff I like and don't like. As long as they continue to offer enough content I like, I'll continue to pay a few dollars a month for it. I don't have to watch the content I don't like.
