Yep. Sent roses to her work today. All the other ladies there got jealous so I earned some street cred. I hate the whole commercial holiday crap but such is life. She puts up with me so it's definitely worth it.

I feel like I hit the jackpot with my girlfriend. She has never bought into made up holiadys like Valentine's Day. A nice Facebook post with a few sweet words and I'm done, and she does the same.
On a side note, I really think we have been duped, gentlemen. Valentine's day has morphed into a second Christmas for women. Think about the torrent of shameless commercials over the last two weeks. Flowers. Candy. Chocolate covered strawberries. Pajamas. Don't even get me started on the inane jewelry commercials. All of it geared towards women getting more stuff. If this is supposed to be an exchange of affection on some sort of equal basis where are the commercials trying to convince women they are pond scum unless she ponies up for a pound of beef jerky and some cigars and a case of fine beer for me? It's crap I tell you, Crap!

update, dog ate 16 mini cupcakes, half a large Hershey bar, and plenty of Hershey's kisses. He's 110lb though so nowhere near toxic. Ate all the wrappers :xmad:

:lmao: I'm sorry to laugh, but having seen the pictures of that big Hershey bar on the table. Just can't help but chuckle. Dogs. I imagine he had a great Valentine's day. For a while.

for some reason,I picture a large crappy Lab.......

I made the necessary change.... our springer spaniels ate a bag of Carmel apple suckers and a bag of dove dark chocolate. It was put away but they managed to get it. Went for the hydrogen peroxide to get them to upchuck but it was too late
