Still waiting on mine, and I had everything turned in and paid for on 8/26. I got arrested in 1994 for not paying a $75 trespassing ticket, and a couple speeding tickets since then and thats it. Thought about calling the firearms license help line, but I'm guessing that will be about as helpful as a one-legged man in an ass kicking competition. ugh!

Application Status changed to PENDING ISP APPROVAL on 11/04. No criminal record whatsoever. Posted this on 11/12. 8 days so far. I will revisit once approved. That way we can gather a consensus for new applicants on how long this process is taking.

Applied for a duplicate on 10/5 and still says duplicate in progress. How long do you think I should wait until I contact them to see what the hold up is?

I called them today to check and she told me it was still waiting on approval. Been 5 weeks now . She was very nice and said didn't know why it was taking longer than usual.

Citizen of Noblesville reporting in. This is my first post on this thread.

Submitted my application electronically to ISP on 11/10. Fingerprinted on 11/11. Went into NPD for my background check on 11/12. For those who might not know, if you have to go through NPD for your local fee, they take your ISP account number and tell you to return in 7 to 10 business days to pay your local fee. So I returned to NPD on 11/19 at approximately 3:15PM. My background check was completed however, since I wanted to pay via debit card and it was after 3PM, they would only accept cash (or check I assume). They close at 4PM. So I returned today (11/23) and finally paid my local fee. Now I'm just waiting for ISP approval.

Honestly, the most cumbersome part of this was dealing with my local PD. Once I called and inquired about my application with my PD, it received local approval 2 days later I believe. So from PENDING ISP APPROVAL to receiving the card in the mail, it took 19 days.

1 Conviction : Theft; receiving stolen property - Class A Misdemeanor. Happened in 2007 in Marion County.

Due to clerical error, my charge was entered in the system wrong from 2007 to 2013 as Class D Felony - Unauthorized entry of a Motor Vehicle
I found out about the clerical error in October of 2013, and had the original lawyer submit a request to fix the clerical error. Request was granted December of 2013, and now my record reflects just the Class A Misdemeanor for theft.

Hopefully I get approved.

Received my duplicate today!! I called last week and told them I applied on October 5th and it was still pending then the same day I got an email stating it was approved and I should get my new one soon. Just thought I would give an update. They didn't say why it took so long. They new one does say duplicate on it. I like the plastic lots better since my old one was getting tore up even being laminated.

I took a little longer to get mine because I had to find a convenient time to get fingerprinted and make my way out to Danville to pay the local fee. From the date I paid the local fee until I was approved only took 13 business days, though.

I DID MY WIFES IN OCT 2015 COMPLETED ONLINE PORTION AND PAID FEDERAL 10.03 THEN FINISHED FINGERPRINTS 10.05 PAID LOCAL 10.06 WAS APPROVED 10.20 RECEIVED IN THE MAIL 10.24

DID MY DUPLICATE ON THE SAME DAY WE COMPLETED HERS ON 10.06 ON 10.07 IT WAS ALREADY APPROVED SINCE IT WAS JUST A DUPLICATE I RECEIVED MY DUPLICATE 11.07
