After this Texas church shooting and concealed carrying person shot the bad guy it got me thinking. if I were in the same situation and coming in to help as being a concealed carry person the question is if I identify the shooter but his back is to me, would it be ok to take the shot even though his back is to me? This question is just in reference to an active shooter situation.

Gun shop owner encounters two burglars at 0430 and exchanges gun fire with them, wounding at least one.
11 minutes later a dead body with GSW found in Baytown, which is about 10 miles south of Crosby.
I looked up the location of the gun shop on Google streetview. Looks like someone's house.
ETA: local boards say this was a combination gun shop/barber shop. I'm guessing the burglars were not there to steal hair tonic.

This is an old one, February of 2017, but that predates this thread so I assume it's not already covered. I ran across it look for another video, and thought it interesting to post because it was a gun battle in liquor store at less than 10 feet. The robber fired five times at the clerk and missed every shot; the clerk fired an unspecified number of times with a revolver but got three hits. The robber ran out of the store and got about 50 feet before collapsing, DOS.
