Beretta 92fs. BUT depending on what you're doing with it, it's kinda big to carry. I really like mine, super accurate, low recoil, and easy to shoot...but I never carry it.

That I've shot (and that I can remember) S&W 3913LS, Sig 239 9mm. (have also shot the same in .357 Sig - don't like it)

I didn't see anything requiring this to be strictly pistols. I like the Smith 686 and I just picked up a DW 15-2 that is awesome. Also really like the CZ 75 and P01.
I really need to get a Sig, I have no experience with those

My favorite non-poly, non-1911 is a pre-B CZ 75. It's about as good as you can find for a 9mm pistol. The balance and the feel are exceptional to me.
