I've given out several Keystone Cricket rifles over the years here on Ingo.
I used to be able to get them for around $99 before shipping.
Getting harder to find at a good price now.

Is it forum kosher, and legal to do something like this? Maybe take donations at a donation site, and buy a rifle for children, or several if there is enough donated.

Or have a give away every time there is enough donations to buy a rifle. Doesn't have to be a specific time that way.

Just tossing ideas out.

There are definite pitfalls to this idea. PMITA prison pitfalls potentially. ( bogus claims of straw purchases, etc. Even more ominous given recent ATF actions/overreach) 10-20 years ago I'd be advocating for a pool of cash to pump out harmless Crickets to young-uns. Today?

IANAL but I would say that the safest course of action is anyone willing to give away a youth rifle they own is encouraged to do so. Anything more where cash changes hands is asking for trouble. (this coming from someone too pretty to go to prison.)
