    Other than the well known spring issue with the Gen4 Glocks, there is also a lesser known issue with the ejector, which has now been redesigned by Glock. Your best bet is to call Glock and have them replace the ejector with the new curved ejector.

    Earlier in this thread I mentioned S&W M&P9 and it was mentioned that hey have failures also. Very true, they are no different than any other mechanical device, the more parts you have moving, the greater the possibility you will have a mechanical failure. Glock vs. M&P vs. 1911 vs. whatever, they are all destined to fail, even the revolvers that I prefer, will fail at some point. No brand name is exempt from failure.

    I thought only Kel-Tec used their cutomers to do their R&D work. :)

    There's a reason I only buy Gen 3 Glocks... the Gen 4's are racked with problems that Glock can't seem to fix. They work for some folks, but they've definitely reduced the overall reliability of the design with the completely unnecessary new recoil spring design.
