Same thing happens with other states with huge urban city/states (think Illinois with Chicago speaking for the whole state). The majority forces the hand of the minority.
CA has some very rural areas with some great people who do not agree or like the laws and politics that have taken hold.
Well, Superman did run around in tights and a cape. It's California for goodness sakes.I blame Superman for this! He saved them when Lex Luthor tried to take over.
That, and every urban/socialist cesspool would have it's own 2 senators which would be a disaster particularly during confirmation hearings.Urban centers can't survive on revenue that they can extract from the people that live there, they have to get money from the state and feds. People paying the bills need to wake up.
Remember who the 'emperor-in-chief' is, with his pen and his phone, who has politicized the DOJ. You're working on the premise that the Constitution is supposed to be the law of the land instead of a politically incorrect obstacle.Just remember; no one is after your guns.
Given California's utter disdain for the Second Amendment, and therefore the Constitution, and it's refusal to cooperate with Federal Agencies such as ICE (not to mention numerous sanctuary cities) at what point can the Federal funds be cut off? NC passes a law about bathrooms and the Feds try and prevent their workers travelling to that State. Surely denying the citizens living in California their Constitutionally protected rights deserves a more serious punishment.
Or do we consider that California has no intention of adhering to the Constitution and is de facto attempting to cede from the United States?
Just like a jack-ass!Of course, they were never meant to affect crime:
Well when Trump gets elected as president, maybe that wall will go right up the east side of the california state line. just let mexico have it back they aren't gun friendly either
Full representation in the legislature is contingent upon whether people agree with you? That's a bit undemocratic, don't you think? The cities you mentioned, by themselves, are over 5% of the population. If those large areas ever leaned conservative, I might re-evaluate my thinking. I have yet to see one do so, as a whole.

...
California has one of the worlds largest economies. not to mention, a lot of their money pays for things in other states. Especially southern states.
just sayin'
Shut the water off they bleed from other states and they would be a raisin in short order. Make them bury their own trash in state and they would live in garbage. They are far from self sufficient. And it's a liberal hell hole of immorality. And they want to force their crap life style on us. Na, I wanna keep my guns and my moral values just the way I like them. I wouldn't even except a free trip to CA.
I sorta feel that way about Chicago. I used to say it was OK for a visit, what with the museums and such, but I have no interest in even a short visit these days.

Good idea. I hear Mexico wants that area back, maybe they will buy it?We could take a yuuuuge chunk out of our national debt if we sold California. And put up a wall.
They don't seem to want to be a part of AMERICA anyway, so what the hell...
