If I OC, can I be accused of "impersonating an officer"?

    I have an Indiana state police issue Beretta 92 that I lawfully purchased. It still has the Indiana state police grips on it. If I OC this pistol, could I be accused of impersonating an officer, since the state police shield would be visible on the grip of my pistol? Please let me know your thoughts on this.

    Probably not. But if you OC in Chicago, and the cops see you and steal your gun and then beat the crap out of you, you might just end up charged with Impersonating a Pinata. :D
