The LTCH requirement is simply a bridge for the government to cross to get to the individual.

Blowing the bridge will create more freedom and more efficient focus for law enforcement.

I remember the 2015 version of the bill. It originally didn't have a provision to retain the LTCH for reciprocity purposes. I emailed Jim Lucas about it, and he actually called me to discuss it. I believe others expressed the same concern as well, because shortly thereafter, the bill was modified to include a provision to retain the LTCH, on an optional basis, for reciprocity. It remained part of the 2016 version, and will again be part of the 2017 version.

A bunch of us emailed him about it in 2015. It sounds like they have it dialed in now. Lifetime and 4-year LTCH remain for reciprocity, no LTCH required in Indiana.

But OMFG, there'll be blood on the streets, I tell you. Blood!

I love this state. I can't imagine living in a liberal state. I would have to move to a great state, like Indiana.

Actually, I was kinda pissed at Indiana last year when the bill didn't go anywhere. I'll reserve opinions until it either passes or fails this year.

Who is our state lobbying organization on this?
Why do we not know specifics on who is with us and who is against us in the commitee this needs to pass through?

Indiana's LTCH is a HUGE infringement of the 2A. We should not be compelled to pay for a license to exercise our rights, nor should we be assumed guilty until proven innocent of carrying illegally without such a license. The requirement of holding an Indiana LTCH needs to go the way of the poll tax.

As for maintaining the LTCH for reciprocity proposes, small steps. The wind is at our backs here. Keep a steady hand on the tiller and stay the course.

Some decaf coffees really suck. Try Peet's House Blend decaf. Take it from a coffee snob. It's pretty good for a decaf.

If you're going with Peet's, try Major Dickason's blend decaf. It's one of the few decaf coffees that has enough body for me to be able to drink

'Decaf' was designed for a people who wanted to be able to sleep.

'Constitutional carry' was designed for a people who were to remain ever vigilant.

I only expose the dots... ...connecting them is optional.

Thanks for the Lucas quote Chip - awesome to hear a politician actually understand the situation and have his facts straight. Sounds like the prosecutor could use a little education.

I'll be in touch with my representatives and following closely. All in for Indiana becoming the next constitutional carry, maintaining the license as an option for states reciprocity of course.

Enjoy your coffee as you . . . write a letter to Brian Bosma.

In fact, get your buddies together, buy some postcards, and you all write Brian Bosma at the coffee house.

    This guy?

Looks like the same guy to me, just several years older. :dunno:

Looks can be deceiving.....just look at 9/11.....oh wait wrong thread!

However without DNA proof you are making assumptions and building an identity conspiracy. I demand expert proof not unreliable eye witness testimony
