    I still don't "get" the firing rounds at their own feet. Several of them look intentional, and I can only assume that the intent is to intimidate someone and get them to back off.

    However, the one at 3:49 looks like a negligent discharge to me. And these are probably the best that Russia has to offer, so I'm wondering how many serious injuries and fatalities they have during this kind of training.

    You'll think better of that once you realize that they were being attacked by snakes during that multi-threat training drill.

    Am I right about the negligent discharge at 3:49, though? I think I am. Were I in the position of one of those guys and the best among us had done that during a drill that is supposed to build confidence ... well ... I would not be very confident. Is that same trigger finger on the trigger when he's sweeping the back of my head when he's behind me?
