morel season upon us?

I found 2 small sponges today near Lafayette. My top layer of soil is pretty dry. Definitely need more rain here.

Went out today and didn't find one. Found one last week very small.

We've only found about 20 mushrooms so far near Lafayette on my property. It's pretty tough to cover 17 acres. It's still way drier than normal for this time of year.

I just got back in ! Me and the GF went out ! hit a patch of 29 all in one patch ! Didnt relize i cut two from the pic until i just now looked at it anyway we will be eating good tomorrow night!

Nothing so far from spot behind the house that was a gold mine last year.. West side Indianapolis.
