28.5 miles on the new Stumpjumper EVO and I am loving it! I did change the travel on my fork from 140mm to 150mm and it did help. I have also played with the head tube angle. So far with 150mm travel, I like 65.5 degrees the best.

I have ordered a Fox 38 170mm fork. A little more travel than I wanted but scored a pretty good deal on it. I went with the Fox 38 over a 36 as I'm 300lbs. It should be here Thursday so I will be excited to get it on the bike. Hopefully the fork will be the last thing I need to buy for awhile. I have spent a decent amount of money on this hobby over the past year.

Hey man, this money you speak of? It's an investment in your longevity. That what I say to myself anyhow.;)

I have the Fox 36 grip2 and wish I could lock it out, but I can set it pretty firm for a (non technical) climb.

And that fork that you have leftover will turn into another bike if you don't get rid of it stat. Better yet, trade it for a fat bike fork and build from there. You're welcome.

That looks like it built out nice. So for those of us dumb about these things, how do you change the head tube angle?

It came with two different upper bearing cups. One neutral and one that can be put in +1° or rotate it 180° for -1°.

There is also a flip chip on the chainstay to have a high or low bottom bracket height which also changes the chainstay length. I haven't messed with that yet though.

This weekend I also packed the SWAT box frame storage bag. It was nice to take all of this stuff out of my pack and store it in the frame.

I have to honestly say, I've never once thought about flossing on the trail. But look here: you have got me thinking about it... ;)

Went up to West Lafayette this weekend with my neighbor to check out Hoffman and Amp. Hoffman was great! It was the first time I have ridden it and really liked it. I will be planning more trips up there. Amp was in good shape. Easy ride but fun.

I'm at 60 miles for the month of November so far. I would love to get to 100, but I'm worried the weather is going to fight me.
