    Ruger Ranch in 7.62x39
I picked one up a while back.
It took me forever to find one of these in 7.62x39.
I just thought I'd post it on here to give a INGO the opportunity to pick one up before everyone else sees it online.

Maybe Ruger just isn't making many of these?
    That would be my guess.

Ruger's factory that makes the American rifles recently underwent a major machine retooling campaign. There were job posts for experienced tool & die makers. I'm guessing that, along with all the other covid supply chain issues is what caused these to dry up. That and skyrocketing demand/resell pricing, because we all want what we can't have.

    Thanks for the heads-up, OP.

They've been hard to find, from what I remember, since just before Covid. Glad they're making a comeback. I'm also glad I didn't spend the 1,000 gunbroker prices and waited for the LGS.

Yeah they're still routinely going for bananas pricing on GB - I wonder if that will change. Might be worth picking up two if you can, and dumping one on GB to see where it goes.

I have one of these in 300BLK and love it. It is my deer hunting rifle.

I love 7.62x39 and run it in ARs, AKs, a Bren 2, etc. Just wondering why everyone is so gassed about this gun???
I'd like to have either the Ruger or the CZ527(?) just because I have a crap ton of 7.62x39, and it would be cheap to feed either one.

Cheap ammo at about 40 cents a round. + or - some.
I have one in .556 for the same reason.
Its a cheap and fun bolt action pinker.
The .556 version is easier to come by, but still not super common.
It takes AR15 mags while the 7.62x39 takes mini thirty mags.
A pretty neat feature if you ask me.

Maybe people grabbing them up for deer hunting.
Or cheap practice guns for deer hunting (since the ammo is cheaper). IDK

The CZ527 looks like a sweet gun too.
It looks like they discontinued it in 2021... bummer.
The reason I like the ruger is it takes mini 30 mags, and the smaller mags are flush to the stock. Not a big fan of a hunting rifle that doesn't have a mag flush to the rifle.
I almost bought one of the czs though. They are nice handling rifles.
