    91 dodge ram 3/4 ton 4x4 w/cummins, 5 speed, and lockers front and rear. Working on plating the engine compartment and cab below the windows w/pin on screens for the windows. Spare starter, alt, voltage reg.really all the spare parts needed and can run on lots of different fuels.

    I am less concerned with EMP than I am with our gasoline fuel supply drying up, I still vividly remember the gas shortages of the 70's, waiting for hours & hours in the multi-mile long lines in order to get a tank of gas.

    With the way things are going, I can definitely see the possibility of that sort of situation returning.

    Always wanted an all electric vehicle that could self charge - electric motors are more efficient, no need for transmission etc..

    Electric motors are more efficient but still lose about 1/2 their power to friction and heat. A bigger problem is carrying power... you can't carry enough
    solar panels to run a useful car or charge in less than a day...maybe several
    days.
