I have only shot 1 CZ (so far) and it was freaking sweet. I will shoot more and succumb to the :koolaid: in no time.

My only saving grace is that I have no gun money, I have already spent it all this year...

My Dad bought me a 75B and a 97B when I was in the service. I loved them, but both were safety only. I do not like manual safeties on guns. So, with his approval, I traded them. I wound up getting a 40P which was a disappointment. Even after a trip to a competent gunsmith, it would not funtion reliably. When I chose a new gun for shooting USPSA, I went with a 75BD. Not a regretful decesion.

When I started posting about CZs on here a few years ago it was very rare to find anyone that owned one. Now it seems like they are all over the place. So, my question is, when did you succumb to the Czickness? What made you buy one? How many and which ones do you have now?

    :koolaid:

I am curious how you first became curious/interested and what convinced you to buy one?

As with others here, I blame you :)

Not long after buying my first handgun (a G19) I became infatuated with the P-07 Duty, but a buddy steered me away from it due to expensive mags and accessories. After getting bit by the 1911 bug and working some of that out of my system, I came across a few of your posts and fell in love with the look of the 75B. Finally bought one a month or so ago and really enjoy shooting it. Yesterday I saw an ad in the classifieds for a P-09, so I traded my G34 and now own the P-09. Can't wait to get it to the range this weekend. I've shot TopDog's Cajunized P-09 and fell in love with it. I want to see how I like it stock, put a thousand rounds or so through it and decide if I want to spend the extra cash to customize it. Actually, I guess I can blame TopDog just as equally as you, as I got to shoot his CZ 75BD about a year ago and really liked it. There are just so many bad influences on INGO. My bank account can't take it... :):

Yes just as wtburnette and others I blame you Birds Away!:dunno: LOL. Just kept reading and looking and thought okay I only need just one. Since that time I now own a really sweet P-09 cagunized and am on my journey north today to pick up my cagunized P-07 and 75D compact. Compliments of llh1956, which I highly recommend if you want to get the most out of your CZs. Rami BD and yes the SP-01 are soon coming home from layaway. LOL. But if it makes you feel any better some of the blame has to go to llh1956 because if he wasnt so darn good at tuning them I may have stayed at my original goal of one.:ugh: But also to be far to both of you there is a Springfield rep living in Indy that also is held responsible for me purchasing just a few 1911s.psyko

Yes it was very nice, and he seems like a great guy! Guess I am just spoiled from work because when company reps visit they always bring gifts, when I met him outside in front of Parabellum one Saturday when we had a shoot no gifts at all!:nono: LOL.

When the fall gun commercials come out you and CM are busted! I have seen the clips, you over in Czech being escorted on tours, and CM riding around in his custom Springfield Armory van, there will be no more Christmas guns for you two!:rofl::rofl:

As long as I get to pick the tour guide. ;)

BA, you still have a satin nickel compact I'm lusting over. I had a dream about it recently. I was carrying it AIWB, under a red Champion t-shirt. There was an alien invasion. It was me, that CZ, and the Avengers, taking care of business.

    And... I've said too much.
